A win for MTN/FAZ Super League defending champions Zesco United on Wednesday against struggling Nchanga Rangers will enable the power utility sponsored side retain the league title.

This is after their closest rival Nkana were held 1-1 by Red Arrows over the weekend while Zesco United beat Nakambala Leopards 2-0 away in Mazabuka.

The result moved Zesco to 77 points, eight better than second placed Nkana who can only move to 78 points should they win all their remaining three games.

A win for Zesco on Wednesday will take them to 80 points.

The defending champions have won 23 of their 35 games this season, losing four and drawing eight in the process.

Nkana on the other hand has won three less, lost six and drawn nine in the 2018 league season.
